The main emphasis is laid on reading, mathematics, conversation and of course the most important – life skills. Life skills & EI is effectively taught at SWS simply because we believe that learning is life itself. It is believed that if a child succeeds at school he/she will go on to make a success of his life in the social, cultural and work arena. It is this success that SWS is aiming at, as academic excellence is only one of the many aspects which enable the child to have a complete life.
-
SWS provides ample opportunities for each child to develop interests and abilities in music, art and sport. Activities generally considered as extra-curricular form an integral component of our core curriculum. Activities are organized every month to enable the children to explore unfamiliar territories and provide a stage for them to dazzle and show case their potential and abilities.
-
Play time is a highlighted feature at SWS aimed at developing strong motor skills, team playing skills, concentration and discipline. Children are provided with suitably crafted play materials which help develop logical skills.
-
SWS provides a scaffold which facilitates a child’s transition from assisted to independent performance. The care giver guides the child when he/she asks for help, gives honest, well-meaning and constructive judgment about the quality of the task.
