Life Skills

Sadhbhavana believes that Life Skills education is an important part of a child’s development. In fact it is being prophesized even by local and international government agencies as an essential part of education today. According to UNICEF, life skills help children develop critical thinking and problem solving mechanisms, create their own identity, be positive in attitude and adaptive in approach and also build transformational potential.

Some of the essential topics covered in life skills training are - care and support, health promotion, violence reduction and peace building, sustainable development, human rights, gender equality and social and emotional learning. Apart from conducting dedicated sessions, Sadhbhavana incorporates life skills training into its curriculum to stay ahead of the times.
