Ms. PRABHAVATHI NAMBIAR
(PRINCIPAL)

Ms Prabhavathi embarked on her career in school education after completing her Post Graduate degree in English and Master’s degree in Education from Madras University. She also has a degree in Creative Writing from IGNOU. She has over 20 years of experience in teaching, administration and management of school activities and had been instrumental in providing students with a dynamic and interesting learning environment in which they can grow and develop. She has also gained experience and expertise in heading a team of teaching and non teaching staff, and guiding and moulding students of various ages.

Ms. Prabhavathi has handled 10th, 11th and 12th grade in Matriculation, CBSE as well as IGCSE Syllabus. She was the Senior English Literary Association In Charge in Lhaviyani Education Centre in the Republic of Maldives.She had worked as the Academic Mission Director in Gokulam Public School and was instrumental in obtaining ISO certification for the school.She has edited textbooks and also been the editor of the school magazines in the schools she was associated with. She participated in the  ‘Stage-I Introductory Course’ in Cambridge IGCSE ‘English as a Second Language’ workshop conducted by the University of Cambridge International Examinations. She has also been conducting Training and Development workshops for teachers. She has been working as the Principal of international schools with IGCSE Curriculum, from June 2007 till date.

 
 


DEVIKA SANAL KUMAR
   
With a degree in Economics and a post graduation in Political Science, Devika Sanal Kumar is presently heading the Primary Section of Sadhbhavana. With her initial stint as a Research Assistant at IIM, Ahmadabad, she has worked in different schools across India and headed the department of Social Sciences in the reputed Meridian School for Boys &Girls, Hyderabad.

Devika is extremely passionate about her profession and views every situation as a learning opportunity. She is constantly involved in getting exposed to and adopting innovative teaching methodologies as a teacher. With great faith in the potential of young minds for using information to create new knowledge, she considers herself a facilitator and co-learner, rather than an instructor.
